EPISODE 007 - Mark Dermul, from Save The Lars Homestead

This week we are happy to welcome Mark Dermul to the show.  You may not know Mark's name, but I'm willing to bet you've heard of his work.  Last year, Mark and a team of friends went to Tunisia to save the Lars Homestead.  They raised money online, struggled through the heat, and rebuilt the iconic domed boyhood home of Luke Skywalker.  Mark tells us the full story, from the joke that inspired the project, how they raised the funds, to dealing with a foreign government in the midst of a revolution, to the actual physical labor in 120 degree heat.

Dan white is back this week with "Chewing On The Power Cables".  This week Dan shares his thoughts on the topic of merchandising, a major aspect of the Star Wars experience.

We also cover this weeks top news stories, and give you one last reminder about the latest Jason's Jawa Giveaway (Utinni!).  You only have 4 days left to qualify for an awesome kid-friendly gift pack!  Just leave us a review on iTunes, and your name will be put into our drawing.  If you are not sure how to leave a review on iTunes, please click these link for simple, step by step instructions!
