A year later, and we return to find out what film restorationists Team Negative 1 have been up to. We talk to group spokesperson, code named: Mr. Black, about the Silver Screen Edition of the original Star Wars and the future of the group.
We throw out the mind probe and trench run, just to get down to legal issues, some Disney bashing and good old fashion George Lucas hating. Get ready for a no holds barred discussion of film restoration and fun.
Daniel Valdez & Greg Dietrich are members of a very special STAR WARS fan club who's goal is to build a 1:1 full scale (interior and exterior) Millennium Falcon. We get into some real nerdy talk about everyone's favorite corellian freighter, go into the Falcon's history, get some mini-reviews of The Force Awakens, and focus on the jewel of the project: the full scale Falcon cockpit that is almost complete. So set your navicomputers for a hyperspace jump into fun!

In this Episode Jason joins author Dr. Travis Langley to explore the personalities of our favorite characters. Good vs evil, humanizing vs dehumanizing, how the score impacts the viewing experience and how the themes of the Star Wars Saga are embedded in daily life.
Jason gets ready for his big Star Wars movie marathon, and we tease upcoming shows including our Christmas Special and Force Awakens Review Show!
There has been an awakening in the Star Wars podcast universe.
Star Wars Expose' is the hip new podcast with a sound all its own. This week Jason with Guest Host Erin Neidigh (Author of 5,100 Question Mega-Ultimate STAR WARS Quiz Book), interview Jeremy Jmiah Williamson, the host/producer/editor of Star Wars Expose'. Jmiah survives the mind probe and takes on a new game, "Who Want's to Be a Jedi Grand Master".
We catch up on Erin's trivia book and game as well as chat about the Force Awakens trailer too.
We continue Jason's Jawa Giveway where we are giving away the Rebels Visual Guide Epic Battles Book.
All this and a fun surprise easter egg at the end of the show.
Joined by guest host Kris Meyer, Jason interviews keeper of all Star Wars knowledge and webmaster of his own nrdfeed.com fan site THE STAR WARS GURU. We talk about all things from Captain Phasma crushes to digital collectible card games. We have breaking news (well, it was breaking when we recorded it) about the new Star Wars movie poster and a contest on how you can win a sweet REBELS book. And if that wasn't enough,..STAR WARS MAD LIBS RETURNS!!!!!
Flying solo this week, Jason interviews Carl Cunningham of the Facebook group Everything BB-8. They talk about everyone's lovable new Star Wars sensation, building R2's and BB-8's, and why everyone is going to Target to get their hands (literally) on the little fella. Is BB-8 a he or a she? Will BB-8 be the next Jar Jar?
All this plus an awesome Droid inspired trench run and find out how you can help host the show!
Meet Jason's friend Bryan Wilson. He's a former ad exec who brought you the Star Wars M&M M-PIRE campaign and who has worked on ad campaigns with Lucasfilm and Michael Bay. Bryan has also invented a super cool/fun board game based on movies called Schmovie. Jason and Bryan play a round of Star Wars Schmovie, talk about the Magic of Myth Star Wars Smithsonian exhibition from 1999 they both visited, and talk about trading Star Wars toys for Transformers (travesty!)
There's even a chance for you to win your very own copy of Schmovie!
Tim joins Jason during the opening and close to discuss Force Awakens tickets, Star Wars movie marathons, and a sad farewell to one of our hosts.
We're a little late getting this episode out. Basically we were too busy playing with our toys.
This week Jason takes over the show, inserts his own Force Friday theme music and takes us on his journey through Force Friday. We talk to fans waiting in line and some of our fellow podcasters call in to share their Force Friday experience.
We also award our Jason's Jawa giveaway prize, The Force Awakens Teaser Poster. Don't miss a minute of The Expanaded Fandomverse Force Friday coverage.
Our guest this week is a man with a podcast all about YOU, the Star Wars fan! Hey, wait, that's our niche! ---Well, we did come first! ;-)
In this episode we talk to Mr. Scott Ryfun, host of "My Star Wars Story". The specifics of his show are not quiet the same as ours; where we talk to cool Star Wars fans doing creative projects based on their love of that galaxy far, far away, Scott is going about collecting an oral history of Star Wars fandom, by asking Star Wars fans to tell him the stories of their Star Wars love from the very beginning.
We chat to Scott about his multiple podcasts, about how this compares to his work in radio, about the future podcast he and Jason are building, and about his book collection!
Our talk with Scott was so fun, that we ran a little long. If you want to hear how Scott did on the Trench Run, you'll have to come back to our website tomorrow for that bonus content!
Also this week, we give you your last reminder about the #Fandomverse giveaway. The contest ends this week, on Force Friday!
We are very happy this week to welcome Mr. Albin Johnson to the show. Al is the man who started the greatest of Star Wars costuming groups, the 501st Legion. Okay, we may be a bit biased, since Jason and I are both members!
Albin's story of how and why he created the 501st is pretty well known, so we asked him questions we hadn't heard the answer to before, the things we were curious about. We think you'll really enjoy this conversation.
This week, also discuss our plans for Force Friday, and how you can be a part of it. And we give you another reminder about the #FANDOMVERSE giveaway. Hurry and post to social media now, for our contest to win the teaser poster for The Force Awakens ends soon!

This week we welcome Mr. Mike Appling to the show. Mike is the creator of Trooperbay.com, THE place to shop online for all your Stormtrooper cos-play needs! We talk to Mike about what it takes to turn your passion into a business, we get a little wonky about Stormtrooper armor and the 501st, Mike shares some "insider information" about Anovos, and he tells what could possibly be the funniest Star Wars origin story I have ever heard.
This week, we also bring back Mr. Steve Greenwood to the show. Steve was one of our earliest guests, and he is the co-founder of Wookiepeedia.com. I talk to Steve about the chances we have of getting The Expanded Fandomverse into "The Wook.". The short answer… no. BUT, he does leave us with a sliver of hope!
We bring back "The News" section to the show this time around. There was just so much stuff announced and released this week, that we felt we had to talk about it! What kind of podcasters would be be if we didn't?
And finally, we give you all another reminder about the #FANDOMVERSE contest, all part of Jason's Jawa Giveaway (Utinni!) There are only two weeks left to get into the running to win the teaser poster for The Force Awakens!

Our guest this week, Mr. Marcelo Zuniga, had a simple idea, which quickly took off and went viral. Marcelo has a YouTube channel that is pretty much nothing but Star Wars clips. Well, recently, he put together a side by side comparison of the theatrical releases of the films, and the multiple "special editions" we've had over the years. Like I said, simple.
This is stuff we, as Star Wars fans know about, and have all seen before. But, when he posted it on YouTube, it soon spread like wildfire! It was featured on Nerdist, io9, Collider, Geekology, Slate, Indiewire, Screenrant, and many many MANY others.
Marcelo and I had a great conversation about all the changes, giving our opinions on what works, what doesn't, what bothers us, and what we would like to change.
Also this week, we unceremoniously mark our one year anniversary! Yes, The Expanded Fandomverse has been coming your way for a year now! It snuck up on us, so we didn't have time to plan anything special, but we chat a bit about this special occasion this week, and look back on the year we've had.
Or rather, I should say I babble about it for a bit, because, unfortunately, I (Tim) was alone this week! Neither Dan nor Jason could join me this week, so I was left all alone, to talk to myself, like I did in the "beta period" of the show!
And remember, don't forget Jason's Jawa Giveawy (Utinni!). Just use the hostage #FANDOMVERSE on Social Media by the end of the month, and you will be in the running for a copy of The Force Awakens teaser poster!
Of all the guests we've had on the show, I don't think we've had anyone on who loves what they are doing, quite as much our guest this week. And that's saying quite a lot!
This week we talk with Don Sucher, proprietor of Sucher & Sons Star Wars Shop in Aberdeen, Washington. Don's store is all Star Wars, all the time! New and old Star Wars collectables grace the shelves of Sucher & Sons for you to play with and to purchase.
During our conversation with Don, we conducted our first "man on the street" interviews, as we take a moment to chat with customers in the store! And we also put Don through "The Mind Probe", and send him down the "Trench Run" where we quiz him on Star Wars merchandise!
Also in this episode, we again remind you about Jason's Jawa Giveaway (Utinni!). You can win a copy of The Expanded Fandomverse teaser poster, simply by using the hashtag #FANDOMVERSE on your favorite social media outlets. And, this week, we begin our campaign to have The Expanded Fandomverse added to the incomparable Wookieepedia!

We recorded this episode last week, the day after the big Star Wars panel at San Diego Comic-Con. And like every other Star Wars podcast out there, we wanted to get our initial reactions out and into your ears right away! But, unfortunately, real life intervened, and I was not able to edit the show together until today. So, like they say, better late than never!
Also, our apologies that this episode ran a little long. First, we had so much to say about Comic-Con (we edited a 60 minute conversation down to 30 mins), and then we had such fun talking with our guests this week, that we ran long there as well. --The interview was so fun, we could barely find 60 seconds of it that we dare cut!
Our guests this week are the very fun, high energy husband and wife team of Sarah and Richard Woloski. They are the force behind one of the most popular Star Wars podcasts out there today, Skywalking Through Neverland. Their show is the perfect mix of that galaxy far, far away, and all things Disney. Two great tastes that go great together!
Like we do with all our guests, we asked the Woloski's their Star Wars "origin story", but then also ask for their Disney "origin story". And then we find out their "origin story" as a couple. And after talking about everything from Herbie the Love Bug, The D23 Expo and Karaoke, we then take Richard & Sarah on "The Trench Run" as we play a goofy game of movie quotations.
Also this week, we bring back Jason's Jawa Giveaway! (Utinni!) We are giving away a copy of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens one sheet poster that is currently hanging in theaters across the nation. To win, all you need to do is post a message on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #Fandomverse. At the end of the month, we will pull the name of one lucky hashtagger from the old Stormtrooper helmet, and send them the post for free! So please, go on Facebook, go on Twitter, and lets get the hashtag #Fandomverse trending!
Once again, thanks for your patience this week, and enjoy the show! May the Force be with you!
